What will I study as an Occupational Performance and Delivery major?

Introduction to Occupational Therapy (OCCU 140)

An introductory course designed to provide an overview of the scope of occupational therapy services. Students will gain a meaningful exposure to occupational therapy practice settings, conditions seen, and therapeutic interventions.

Assessment in Occupational Therapy (OCCU 340)

An overview of the different assessments that are used to evaluate the occupational performance across various populations and conditions, including pediatric, geriatric, mental health, cognitive, and physical assessments. Class activities include hands-on practice in clinical techniques necessary for occupational therapy assessments.

Practices in Occupational Therapy Interventions (OCCU 344)

This foundational course will provide an overview of different occupational therapy interventions commonly used to treat occupational performance difficulties for diverse populations and conditions in various treatment settings across the lifespan. Occupational interventions selected for this class are presented in association with prevailing models of practice and practice frameworks. Class activities include hands-on practice of interventions covered in lecture.

Bible and Theology Coursework
